Ingrid Bergman once said “No form of art goes beyond ordinary consciousness as film does, straight to our emotions, deep into the twilight of the soul.”
And she had a point.

The Same Difference Film Festival seeks to challenge, inspire and educate people using film. We want our strongest programme yet to make a difference and give people the opportunity to watch something different, something that will affect the twilight of their souls.

Our selection provides the opportunity to think about things differently, to see things differently. It involves films that challenge our beliefs, our values, our identities, our sense of community and concepts of peace and conflict.

The Same Difference Film Festival is the same as other film festivals;
only it seeks to make a difference.
